Malabar Effluent Channels

The Project 

This project included the patch repair and rehabilitation of various sections of the effluent channels in one of Sydney’s largest sewerage treatment plants under controlled live flow conditions. The channels were showing signs of deterioration which needed to be rectified in order to ensure continued reliable service. A special suspended work platform was constructed to allow access to the work areas including the roof and penetrations, works were also completed on the invert of the channels.
