Metrocorp has been lowering custom built pontoons into the Northern Suburbs Ocean Outfall Sewer (NSOOS) early each weekday at Brightmore Reserve (Cremorne) as part of its project for Sydney Water making the near century-old asset more reliable.

Our Setup

The self-propelled pontoons have wheeled outriggers, silt collection and rock wheel attachments, two-way radios, work lights and CCTV cameras so Metrocorp crews can do a quality job safely.

The Project Continues

Metrocorp commenced NSOOS work as part of its new Critical Sewer Solutions joint venture with Interflow. Our joint crews are in the tunnel downstream between Brightmore Reserve and Quakers Hat Bay (Mosman). Similar safety, quality and environmental challenges apply.
